Machine Operator I

Job Title: Material Handler/Packager
Location: Greenville , WI
Duration: 6 Months on W2 (Temp to Hire)
Shift: - 9:30pm - 6:30am

Job Summary:

The Production Associate supports machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by assisting with packaging, material handling, and palletizing activities. This role involves removing finished rolls from machines, packaging products into boxes, preparing pallets for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. No prior machine operating experience is required; training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators with daily production and packaging activities
• Remove finished product rolls from production machines and place them into boxes
• Tape and seal completed boxes and stack them onto pallets
• Move completed pallets using a pallet jack to designated warehouse areas
• Follow work order instructions and production schedules accurately
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Operate finishing equipment and tools following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain productivity standards and support continuous workflow operations
• Build understanding of manufacturing equipment and production processes under direct supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Comply with all company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations
• Wear required PPE including steel toe shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and high-visibility vests
• Support additional warehouse or production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational education preferred
• Less than 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience required
• No prior machine experience required; willing to train
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required

Required Equipment:

• Steel toe shoes required
• Safety glasses, ear plugs, and high-visibility vests provided by the company
