Our company is seeking a proactive Network Security Engineer to lead F5 firewall deployments and support secure, scalable network infrastructure. This Network Security Engineer role combines hands-on implementation, advanced troubleshooting, and automation to strengthen enterprise network security while supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.
Network Security Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle deployment and configuration of F5 firewalls and secure network infrastructure.
- Perform advanced L1 L3 troubleshooting to resolve complex connectivity, routing, and performance issues.
- Monitor and optimize network health using NMS, SIEM, SNMP, and element management systems.
- Support infrastructure modernization initiatives through Ansible, automation frameworks, and AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
- Create detailed documentation and communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Network Security Engineer Qualifications
- 2+ years of advanced configuration and administration experience with F5 and/or Juniper SRX platforms.
- 1 2 years of experience supporting Nokia, Juniper, or Cisco network environments.
- Strong expertise in network architecture, routing, switching, and L1/L2/L3 troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with SNMP, NMS, SIEM, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Linux systems, virtualization technologies, proxies, and WAN optimization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments with strong project management skills.
Network Security Engineer Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible or similar orchestration platforms for network automation.
- Experience building AI agents or LLM-based tools to streamline deployment workflows.
- Relevant certifications including F5-CA, F5-CTS, JNCIA, or JNCIS.
