Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Slack Integration Developer to help stand up Slack Enterprise Grid for the first time. You will play a pivotal role in establishing Slack as a core WorkOS for our organization. This includes defining Slack governance, security controls, workspace architecture, app and integration management, workflow automation, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Governance: Establish Slack Enterprise Grid foundations, security controls, and workspace architecture.
• Custom App Development: Design and build custom Slack apps and bots from scratch using Slack APIs (Events API, Web API, and the Bolt framework).
• SaaS Integrations: Build and manage seamless integrations with major enterprise platforms, including:
  • GitHub: Set up PR notifications and CI/CD alerts.
  • Jira: Implement issue tracking and ticket automation.
  • Confluence: Facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • ServiceNow: Push incident alerts and notifications.
• Data Synchronization: Develop bi-directional integrations to ensure real-time data synchronization between Slack and external platforms.
• Workflow Automation: Streamline day-to-day operations by building and deploying workflow automations and operational processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software, digital, or mobile application development.
• Slack Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience with Slack API / Slack App Development.
• SaaS Integration: Hands-on experience integrating Slack (or building APIs for) GitHub, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar SaaS tools.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Windows and Mobile Application Development environments.
