We are currently looking for aLogistics Coordinator to join our team.Provideconsistent andtimelysupport to the company,vendors,and customers as it relates to all warehouse duties and supports the production floor.An ideal candidate is someone withsolidwarehouse work experience,effective communicationskills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!

Responsibilities:

  • Comply withallcompany andsafety policies and procedures.
  • Processes all inbound & outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging,and delivering material.
  • Verifies packing slips from supplier with MCC purchaseorder;checks for correct quantity, information, and hidden damage.
  • Unloads receivables from trucks to storage area.
  • Maintainan accurateinventory of material.Ensuresmaterials are properlylocatedand maintained.
  • Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.
  • Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
  • Operates forklift.
  • Obtains material from stock.Distributes received items toappropriatedepartment.
  • Takes materials to presses as needed for job orders. Obtains unused material from presses.
  • Reviews job ticketfor shipping requirements and special instructions.
  • Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order.
  • Documents the amount shipped and calculatestotalamount packaged.
  • Participate inscheduling ofdaily transportation.
  • Perform inventory of all stored materials and finished products.
  • Communicate with transportation companies asappropriate.
  • Interacts with Accounts Payable and Purchasing on questionable invoices.
  • Advisesall essential personnel of returned goods.
  • Communicates withappropriate Associatesto verify information on job tickets prior to packaging/shipping job orders.
  • Provides information to Supervisorregardingnon-conformance or incorrect job tickets.
  • Responsible for working overtime when neededand asassigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Warehouse experience strongly desired
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Forklift experiencerequired
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player
  • Ability toliftto 50 lbs. and carry up to 20 feet (frequently); ability toliftto 75lbs. Andcarry up to 10 feet (occasionally)
  • Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)
  • Ability to differentiate colors (able to pass a color test)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions with determination to meet deadlines
  • Experience with and ability toutilizeMicrosoft Office Applications
  • Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work
  • Ability to stand forextended periodsof time (up to12-hourshifts)
  • Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
