Restaurant Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or operations experience
- Casual dining experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform in a high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Restaurant Assistant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Bar management/background preferred
- Scratch kitchen experience is a plus
Restaurant Assistant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including FOH, BOH, and bar
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach to motivate and support the team
- Coach, train, and develop team members to deliver outstanding guest service
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and operational consistency
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor control
- Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and guest hospitality
