Maintenance Tech Facility Coordinator

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Tech Facility Coordinator to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech Facility Coordinator, you will be part of the Facilities Operations Department supporting maintenance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have proactive problem-solving skills, strong judgment, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech Facility Coordinator

Location: Midvale, UT

Pay Range: $20-$22

Shift: 8 am start, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Oversee daily facility operations to ensure smooth functioning of building systems and equipment
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks independently, such as replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting minor issues
• Supervise and coordinate external vendors to ensure safe and quality work completion
• Monitor alarms and system alerts, responding promptly to determine if issues can be resolved quickly or require escalation
• Inspect equipment such as HVAC units, chillers, boilers, and mechanical systems to maintain operational efficiency

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire control systems, and groundskeeping
• Ability to identify issues, assess urgency, and direct vendors appropriately
• Strong communication skills and reliability during working hours
• Experience managing vendor relationships and maintaining service records is a plus
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and budget guidelines for repairs up to $500
