Our client, a precision machining manufacturer serving automotive, commercial, and defense industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (CNC) to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department, supporting the Production and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician
Location:Elkhart, IN
Pay Range:$30 - $32/hr + $2 Shift Premium
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve complex equipment issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Train machine operators on basic maintenance procedures and support continuous improvement efforts
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a CNC or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and ability to read schematics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong communication skills
