This position is responsible for assembling high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have prior mechanical or production assembly experience and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
- Work scheduled overtime as needed to support production goals and customer demands.
- Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment including hand tools, torque tools, power tools, overhead cranes, and hoists.
- Inspect finished assemblies for defects, accuracy, and overall quality compliance.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and identify production or process issues when deviations occur.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and production documentation.
- Accurately document work completed using tablets, scanners, or company production systems.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in cross-functional production areas and support additional operational needs as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, or mechanical assembly experience required.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing, equipment assembly, automotive assembly, or industrial production environments preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and written work instructions.
- Basic experience using hand tools, measuring devices, torque tools, and powered equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, or electronic systems for production tracking and documentation.
