Location: York, PA or Myerstown, PA
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join our growing team in either the York or Myerstown, PA office. This individual will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and/or industrial drywall projects. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience and a deep understanding of drywall/metal framing/painting projects for commercial/industrial size facilities.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join our growing team in either the York or Myerstown, PA office. This individual will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and/or industrial drywall projects. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience and a deep understanding of drywall/metal framing/painting projects for commercial/industrial size facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, and related scopes
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Lead and manage the estimating department, including mentoring junior estimators
- Review project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff
- Track bid results and maintain historical cost data for future estimates
- 5+ years as a Drywall Estimator in commercial and/or industrial construction
- Proficiency with EDGE estimating software (preferred)
- Experience managing or leading an estimating team or department
- Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal stud framing, and finishing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working for a specialty contractor or general contractor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Background in large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Established relationships with vendors and subcontractors in the region
- Experience with value engineering and cost-saving strategies
