Position s Contributions to Work Group:
- 3500 Diesel and DGB(Dynamic Gas Blending) Platform Engineering team
- Team is responsible for 3500 Machine, Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Loco current product and factory support for all 3500 Diesel and DGB
Reason/motivation for request:
- Backfill

On the 3500 Platform Engineering team you will learn a lot about the overall engine and through supporting the factory will learn a lot about the manufacturing process as well.
Typical Day or Week in the Role
Typical task breakdown:
- Daily support of factory requests to engineering
- Managing completion of various continuous improvement efforts
- Participation on various teams
Interaction with team:
- Work in team environment with ability to work independently(sometimes) on tasks and assignments.
Team Structure
- Works in a team of about 10-12 engineers and technologists. Team is loosely split by factory support and engine platform current product engineering maintenance. There is some overlap.
Work environment:
- Primarily office, with frequent visits to factory floor

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 0-5
- Degree requirement: Engineering or similar technical 4 yr degree
