Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with a strong focus on Mobile Automation, specifically using Appium. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Identify and resolve issues in the mobile application lifecycle.
Conduct thorough regression testing and performance testing of mobile applications.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile automation.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Mobile Automation with Appium.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with mobile application testing frameworks and tools.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in mobile applications.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Familiarity with cloud based testing environments.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on mobile automation.
Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
