Millwright

Location: Within a 2-hour drive of The Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains, and world-class skiing at Lake Placid. Montreal and Ottawa are just 2-3 hours away, offering easy access to Canadian destinations.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain cone and jaw crushers, crusher screens, conveyor belts, rollers, and drive units.
• Rebuild and service industrial slurry pumps.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and pipe fitting tasks as required.
• Adhere to MSHA and company safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with the mill crew to support continued production.
• Work standard hours (Monday Friday), with flexibility for troubleshooting and projects as needed.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with rod and ball milling is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Physical strength and endurance to handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
• Industrial experience is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with rod and ball milling.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Physical endurance to handle heavy machinery.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Industrial experience preferred.
