Project Engineer

Job Description

Inland Empire Paper Company seeks an experienced Engineer to join our Mill Production Leadership team.

• Project Management:Define, design and manage engineering projects for equipment and infrastructure including developing and reporting on budget elements and time management; oversee contractors/workers for efficient project performance; accountable for budget.
• Process Optimization:Develop/upgrade processes to maximize capacity utilization, minimize cost and increase performance while maintaining environmental protection; includes conducting process development experiments, research and assessment of potential technology, supervising implementation.
• Facilitator: Works closely with the mill leadership group including Maintenance Manager, department superintendents and supervisors as well as operators to provide daily manufacturing technical support, trouble shooting and problem solving to improve production efficiencies, output and safety of plant.
