The Network Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organizations network infrastructure. This leadership role involves managing a team of network engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network services that support the organization's operations and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the network engineering team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Plan, design, and implement network solutions aligned with business goals.
- Oversee daily network operations, ensuring availability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with other IT teams and external vendors for upgrades, projects, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security best practices.
- Prepare and manage the network budget and resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for network infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment.
- Experienced with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment.
- Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN technologies.
- Experience managing enterprise network environments, including firewalls, routers, switches, and security appliances.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
