The Production Supervisoris responsible forleading and developingshift employees, as well as meeting defined key performance goals for safety, quality, production,service,and efficiency. Schedule priority production machinesand employee assignments.Assistand work underdirectionof production manager. Supervisorsare required tospend 75% oftheir time on the production floor supporting employeesand solving problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep employees safe by conducting regular safety inspections,responding to safety incidents,identifyingand resolving safety hazards, andholding ALL employees accountabletosafety procedures and behaving safely.
  • Lead safety improvement initiatives on shift in assigned areas.
  • Lead by example and set a high standardfor safe and professional behavior.
  • Oversee daily operation of assigned areas.
  • Scheduleproduction teammemberswork assignments.
  • Lead in-the-moment problem solvingin the productionenvironmentallowingproduction team members tosafely create the required amount of quality finished goods.
  • Reconciletimecards daily and approve timecards and payroll weekly.
  • Administercorrective actions, coach employees,and provide performance feedback.
  • Administer annual performance reviews for production team members.
  • Motivate,support,and provide guidance to production team members.
  • Communicate regularly with managementregardingproblems or issuesimpactingsafety, quality, and production.
  • Evaluate machine readiness to ensure continuous and safe production and minimal downtime.
  • Lead team to meet established safety, quality, production, service, and cost goals on shift.
  • Develop standard operating proceduresand policies that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Oversee and work with on-shift maintenance and tooling team members to ensureeffective and efficient change overs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of ScienceDegreeand2to3years ofprogressiveleadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Internal Candidates may waive the degree requirement based on performance and relevant experience
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail and organization isa must
  • Strong creative, organizational, interpersonal,written,and verbal communicationskillsare essential
