The Bartender at The Newbury of Brookline will prepare and serve beverages and food to residents with the utmost level of hospitality. Mixing and garnishing cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and following or creating cocktail recipes will fall under the Barkeeps responsibilities. The Bartender will report to the Dining Room Manager and assist with other dining needs as needed.
Pay: $22/hr (no tips)
Availability: Full-Time | 1pm-9pm shift | 1 Weekend Day is Required

What will I do every day?
- Perform all dining steps of service in a friendly and professional manner
- Greet and escort residents in the bar area and assist as needed
- Read and listen to residents to determine beverage preferences, make
recommendations, and taking drink orders. - Plan drink menus and inform residents about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to
residents. - Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are wellstocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required by the Supervisor.
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- A passion for excellence
- A great moral compass
- High school graduate preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of bartending experience
- Meet state minimum age to serve alcohol
