We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Core Java, Rest Assured, and API Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks and validating RESTful services in a fast-paced Agile environment.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Core Java & Rest Assured
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs
• Validate API responses, data integrity, and backend integrations
• Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
• Perform test data management and environment setup
• Identify defects, log bugs, and track them to closure
• Contribute to improving automation coverage and test strategy

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java
• Extensive experience with Rest Assured framework
• Solid understanding of API Testing (REST, JSON, XML)
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools
• Experience with Git version control
• Familiarity with SQL & database validation
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
