CNC Machine Operators

Operating and setting up Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. This role supports the production process by ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in machining operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Set up and operate assigned CNC machines (e.g., CNC machining centers, CNC grinders, lasers, EDM) following standard machining practices and company procedures.

Load programs and make edits as required to meet production specifications.

Inspect and measure machined parts using precision tools to verify conformance to blueprints and quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, in-process documentation, and customer specifications.

Perform basic part programming, including tool selection and setting speeds/feeds as required.

Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Assist with fixture fabrication and improvement projects.

Support Lean and 5S principles; adhere to company health, safety, ISO quality, and ethical standards.

Train and assist other CNC/Manual operators as needed.

Other duties as assigned within the manufacturing facility.
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

Basic computer skills and ability to use common measuring tools.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Regular attendance and punctuality.
Preferred:
-
2 5+ years' experience in machining, CNC setup, and machine editing/programming.

Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Problem-solving aptitude for setup and machine issues.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong safety-focused mindset.
-
Manufacturing environment with standard safety PPE requirements.
-
May involve standing, lifting, and handling machined parts/equipment.
