Job Title: Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer Onsite Role

Location: Frisco, TX & CA

Project Duration: 12 months

Work Arrangement: Work from Client Office 5 days a week

Job Description:

Infrastructure Background Experience : In addition to the existing responsibilities, you will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including:

• Hypervisor and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
• Storage systems and network architecture (e.g., SAN, NAS, load balancers).
• Data center infrastructure, including power and cooling systems.
• E xperience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement landing zones, VPC/VNet networking, IAM, and security baselines.
• Provision and configure compute, storage, and database services using IaC.
• Develop and maintain pipeline automation for app and infrastructure deployments.
• Design and package applications with latest containerization and orchestration.
• Configure logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting - apply SRE practices.
• Produce cost-and-capacity reports with FinOps tooling.
• Produce well-structured design documents, diagrams, and hand-over guides.
• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related experience in the field.
• 10 years experience in cloud solutions on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent IaC tool and a one scripting language.
• Working knowledge of container runtime fundamentals.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevSecOps controls
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks and incident-management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Cloud certifications on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with serverless services ( Lambda, Cloud Functions), event-driven architectures ( SNS/SQS, Event Hub, Pub/Sub), and microservice patterns.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI) and security hardening.
• Exposure to data-platform services and AI/ML tooling.
• Infrastructure background experience, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure.
