Job Description:
Infrastructure Background Experience : In addition to the existing responsibilities, you will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including:
- Hypervisor and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
- Storage systems and network architecture (e.g., SAN, NAS, load balancers).
- Data center infrastructure, including power and cooling systems.
- E xperience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement landing zones, VPC/VNet networking, IAM, and security baselines.
- Provision and configure compute, storage, and database services using IaC.
- Develop and maintain pipeline automation for app and infrastructure deployments.
- Design and package applications with latest containerization and orchestration.
- Configure logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting - apply SRE practices.
- Produce cost-and-capacity reports with FinOps tooling.
- Produce well-structured design documents, diagrams, and hand-over guides.
- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related experience in the field.
- 10 years experience in cloud solutions on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent IaC tool and a one scripting language.
- Working knowledge of container runtime fundamentals.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevSecOps controls
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks and incident-management processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Cloud certifications on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with serverless services ( Lambda, Cloud Functions), event-driven architectures ( SNS/SQS, Event Hub, Pub/Sub), and microservice patterns.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI) and security hardening.
- Exposure to data-platform services and AI/ML tooling.
- Infrastructure background experience, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure.
