TalentBridge is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Civil/Structural Engineer to support structural engineering needs across multiple production facilities.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not a project management-heavy position. The focus is on applying sound structural engineering fundamentals in real operating environments supporting plant teams with design, evaluation, and problem-solving tied to active manufacturing operations.
The role functions as an internal engineering resource, working directly with plant leadership and operations to ensure structural integrity, safety, and long-term reliability across facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate structural steel systems, equipment supports, mezzanines, and concrete foundations within manufacturing environments
- Support plant-driven initiatives including equipment installations, reinforcements, and facility modifications
- Review and develop construction drawings (AutoCAD)
- Assess existing structures and provide guidance on structural integrity and safety-related concerns
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical, real-time engineering solutions
- Partner with plant teams to ensure engineering solutions align with operational needs
- Coordinate with external engineering firms when stamped drawings or specialized support is required
What We're Looking For:
- Civil or Structural Engineer with ~510+ years of experience
- PE license is preferred but not required
- Strong background in structural steel and foundation design
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is highly relevant
- Comfortable operating independently and making sound engineering decisions in the field
- Background in consulting environments is a plus, particularly for those looking to move into an internal, non-billable setting
- AutoCAD (primary design tool)
- Exposure to RISA or similar analysis tools is helpful
- Use of 3D scanning technology (FARO or similar) in certain applications
