Job Details: Assignment: Sr Network Engineer Category/Level*: Term of Assignment: 12 months Date Candidate Resumes due to Sound Transit: ASAP Rate Range: Equipment needs: Sound Transit will provide a laptop General Summary: Under general direction of the Manager-Network Engineering, this assignment will contribute to the strategic objectives of the ST Azure Cloud Program.
This temporary contractor will have responsibility for design, implementation, requests, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of the ST Azure Cloud.
This includes developing advanced Azure performance reports.
This temporary engineer will support the Problem Management practice leading root cause analysis and problem reporting.
The assignment will work closely with Cloud Team, subject matter experts, Service Owners and engaged as needed. Azure Cloud, Juniper, Cisco, Azure firewall Required Licenses or Certifications: None Specific Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: Juniper Routers, Switches, SRX Firewalls, BGP, OSPF, F5, Automation Physical Demands/Work Environment:

- Work will be performed in a standard office environment and via a remote office. Estimated onsite requirement is 75% of the time, and onsite location is 705 5 th Ave S, Seattle
- Could be subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.
