Seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The role involves managing secure, high-performing networks in a NIST/FISMA-compliant environment.Key Responsibilities
Design & support LAN/WAN/DMZ/Wireless networks
Configure and manage Cisco routers & switches
Handle firewalls, VPNs, and network security
Troubleshoot L2/L3 network issues
Manage Active Directory & Group Policies
Maintain network documentation & standards
Support Windows Server & Windows 11 environmentsMust-Have Skills
Cisco networking (routing & switching)
Wireless network design & optimization
Firewall & VPN management
