Location: Ridley Park, PASalary Range: $45to $55/hr on W2

Contract Duration : 12+ monthsIntroduction

Join a leading team in the Defense, Space, and Security sector at the Philadelphia Design Center (PDC). Our team focuses on designing and supporting a wide range of products across the globe, including Vertical Lift Programs, Commercial Aircraft, Fixed Wing Fighters, Satellites, Space Launch Systems, and many others.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Prior work experience in the industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (Cameo/MSOSA, etc.) and concepts
• Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management software/tools

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development, and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
• Assist with analyses to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces
• Assist with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
• Assist with analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
