We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Lead/Developer to join our team and support enterprise data integration and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), ETL development, data migration, and data warehousing concepts. The candidate should be capable of leading technical implementations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
- Lead data migration, data integration, and data transformation activities.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
- Develop reusable workflows, data flows, scripts, and transformations in SAP BODS.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and loading activities.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to BODS jobs and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, SAP functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, and operational documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, mock runs, and production deployment activities.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
- Participate in co-location sessions in Chandler, Arizona, or Sacramento as required.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
- Experience in ETL development, data migration, and data integration projects.
- Good understanding of SAP and non-SAP source systems integration.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, or DB2.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex ETL and data-related issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
- Experience working on SAP migration or transformation projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data integration technologies.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or SAP BW environments.
- Prior experience in leading offshore/onshore coordination activities.
- SAP BODS certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP BODS development and support.
- Lead experience in enterprise-level data migration/integration projects preferred.
