2nd shift
Summary/objective:
  • Perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components using manual and semi-automated tools, including: (drivers, wrenches, soldering guns, etc...)
  • Work with a team to assemble components as part of a larger assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Perform in-process quality checks on assembly.
  • Perform rework and repair as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Adept in basic computer skills (typing, mouse, data entry)
  • A team player, willing to help the production team as needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Flexible and willing to continually learn new processes and products.
  • Surface mount and thru-hole soldering for components following industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly process and product quality.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new assembly techniques and technologies.
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and other regulatory processes as required.

Competency:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical assembly preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus in order to read.

Required education and experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools
  • Knowledge and experience of ESD best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and their function
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Problem solving skills to identify and resolve assembly issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.


Additional eligibility qualifications:
Training on our equipment will be provided, but the following skills are highly sought after.
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Knowledgeable with hand tools
  • Experience with soldering.
  • Basic computer skills
