Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Columbus NE 68601
Duration: 12 + Months with the potential for extension based on business needs and/or possible conversion
4:00 pm. to 12:00 AM
Pay Rate is $21 an hour
Position Summary:
- Performs routine production functions including utility operations, packing, packaging, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision
- Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000/13485 (International Organization for Standardization)
- Effectively works in a team setting while supporting team goals and objectives
- Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements
- Follows instructions and works within routine standard practices while making decisions as required
- Works under direct supervision following standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
- Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
- Effective communication skills with co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours
- Must report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities
