Job Summary
The Software Engineer applies computer science and mathematical principles to design, develop, test, and evaluate software systems that support computing functions. The role involves working on system-level and application-level software, with a strong focus on database design and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain existing databases and database management systems
• Develop logical and physical database structures and define database identifiers
• Collaborate with project teams to define scope, requirements, and limitations
• Estimate time and cost required for database development tasks
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Troubleshoot issues and implement necessary system changes
• Ensure database solutions meet user and business requirements

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Understanding of full SDLC processes
• Basic troubleshooting and system modification skills
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software fundamentals
• Experience with SQL and database management systems

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
