Data Engineer Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse initiatives
• Support migration and integration efforts between Oracle-based systems and Snowflake
• Build and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to support data flows from back-office booking systems (OVS) into subledger platforms
• Integrate and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) data processing and downstream reporting
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Finance, and Risk
• Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data lifecycle
• Assist with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Development
• Strong experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data warehouses
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience working with financial systems, particularly subledger or accounting data flows
• Familiarity with large-scale data environments handling high transaction volumes
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) or similar finance platforms
• Exposure to back-office or booking systems (e.g., OVS)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Knowledge of data governance, regulatory reporting, or compliance frameworks within financial services
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments
