The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established and growing construction company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Project Coordinator with a pay range from $65K to $80K+ Bonus based on skill set & experience. Come join their team!

What will the Project Coordinator do? This role supports the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout- while working closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
Bidding & Preconstruction:
" Assist with estimating and assembling bid packages
" Solicit and compile subcontractor pricing
" Manage drawing revisions and maintain updated logs
" Help prepare bid forms, qualification statements, and required documents
" Coordinate permits, utilities, and subcontractor background checks
" Arrange out-of-town housing and logistics for field staff
" Create site-specific safety plans and review project specifications
" Order bid bonds as needed
Project Setup:
" Set up and maintain project documentation in Procore/TEAM systems
Construction Phase:
" Manage submittals, RFIs, and project logs
" Review submittals for compliance with drawings and specifications
" Coordinate with subcontractors on timelines and deliverables
" Attend project meetings; create and distribute agendas and meeting minutes
" Manage monthly subcontractor pay applications and tracking
" Assist with change orders and daily construction reporting
" Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
Closeout:
" Prepare and manage closeout logs and documentation
" Assemble final project deliverables including warranties and manuals
" Assist with as-built documentation
Additional Responsibilities:
" Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
" Support field operations and superintendents as needed
" Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships
" Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with construction software is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work in a team environment
