- Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting, taping and applying adhesive.
- Trim finished rubber parts.
- Operate extruders and other machines as they relate to the preparation of raw material.
- Maintenance of equipment and raw materials requirements as established on the Production Order.
- Follows Quality Policy to ensure the production of quality parts.
- Trains other employees and imparts personal knowledge of parts, procedures, machines, etc.
- Perform various other duties and activities within the physical constraints of the job.
Experience & Skills
Required / Core Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Safety-first mindset; strict adherence to HSE rules
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Exposure to rubber molding, machine operation, or production equipment
- Experience using hand tools (knives, grinders)
- Familiarity with production or shop-floor processes
Education
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Shift / Hours
- Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
Training
- All training is provided locally
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Items over 50 lbs require mechanical assistance (cranes) or team lifting
Safety
- Strong emphasis on HSE compliance
- Steel-toe shoes required
