Position Summary: As a Lead Warehouse Associate you would be responsible for executing warehousing activities related to incoming and outgoing goods. This role involves receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching materials while ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate data within the ERP system (SxE) and actively contribute to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

- Manage packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching of goods efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with customer and government shipping/receiving requirements.
- Maintain clear communication within and outside departments.
- Oversee daily shipments (inbound/outbound) and on-site material handling.
- Process shipments, load/unload goods, and verify accuracy of deliveries.
- Utilize forklift and pallet jacks to move and store items securely.
- Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and arrangement of warehouse inventory.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to prevent damage or discrepancies.
- Manage inventory data in computerized systems and address any errors proactively.
- Assist in building out and organizing the warehouse, including developing operational processes for shipping/receiving.
- Schedule: Monday Friday; start time flexible (must be consistent). Available shifts: 7 AM 3:30 PM, 8 AM 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM 5 PM.
- Overtime: Mandatory.
- Environment: Exposure to body fluids, infections, and occasional emergency situations.
- Dress Code: Steel-toe shoes required. Pants/khakis with a t-shirt or polo. No shorts.
- Experience: 4+ years of warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Forklift Certification: Prior forklift experience required; certification provided by the client.
- DoD Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Department of Energy (DoE) Security Clearance.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to recognize manufacturing applications for cost-saving solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Expected to resolve minor site-related issues independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent (not required).
- Knowledge of transportation, material handling, and packaging operations.
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-minded approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily operations on-site after training.
- Reliable and dependable, with a proactive approach to warehouse management.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and maintain workflow efficiency.
