This position ensures the integrity, scalability, and evolution of Tyson's Anaplan environment across multiple business units. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and demonstrates a passion for leveraging data, analytics, and technology to improve financial planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with finance and business teams to support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles aligned with corporate objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for day-to-day Anaplan model operations.
- Monitor, audit, and validate data imports/exports and system integrations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Troubleshoot model defects and system issues in collaboration with IT and Anaplan support teams.
- Design and implement model enhancements and new functionalities to support evolving business strategies.
- Lead end-user training sessions, office hours, and provide ongoing user support.
- Administer workspace functions including user security, access controls, governance compliance, and system troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and governance standards for model sustainability.
- Stay current with Anaplan best practices, platform updates, and industry innovations.
- Support cross-training initiatives and collaborate across finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Operations) or a technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of finance or FP&A experience with solid understanding of financial planning processes.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience building and maintaining Anaplan models or similar financial planning software platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheet modeling and data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent technical problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to support and training.
- Passion for leveraging business analytics and financial modeling to drive insights.
- Anaplan Level 1 & Level 2 Model Building Certifications.
- Experience expanding enterprise financial planning platforms.
- Exposure to workspace administration and governance management within Anaplan.
