Join a fast-paced engineering environment supporting critical equipment design, procurement, and deployment projects. The Engineer-Equipment II will help manage equipment logistics, project planning, vendor coordination, and infrastructure support for telecommunications and construction initiatives.
Engineer-Equipment II Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and design support for equipment across multiple project types.
- Support equipment order logistics, including material requests, purchase orders, vendor payment, and equipment tracking.
- Forecast future equipment needs based on project timelines and start dates.
- Monitor equipment expenditures and support procurement optimization.
- Oversee equipment receipt, acceptance, and component documentation.
- Collaborate closely with team members using strong project management and communication skills.
Engineer-Equipment II Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong adaptability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organization, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including Google Sheets or Excel data analysis features.
Engineer-Equipment II Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in equipment, construction, or A&E design.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering construction principles.
- Familiarity with telecommunications facilities design, 5G deployment, AC/DC power distribution, switchgear, cooling, generators, and aisle containment.
- Master s degree, MS, MA, or MBA preferred.
