Job Title : Data Scientist
Location : Lewisville, TX (Multiple locations available)
Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $45- $48/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with technical expertise and GenAI knowledge to join our Auto Consumer Strategy & Analytics group. The successful candidate will support initiatives across machine learning and AI model development, model governance, and emerging generative AI innovations. This role involves partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and risk partners to deliver high-quality ML/AI solutions and ensure their responsible and effective deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in a Quantitative/Technical Discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Economics)
• Minimum 6years of data science/quantitative modeling work experience, with hands-on experience working with large datasets (including text)
• Deep expertise in statistics and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Strong knowledge in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing predictive models, Generative AI, and agentic systems
• Strong foundational knowledge of responsible AI practices
• Experience with GitHub and repositories
• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test AI solutions for the Consumer Auto organization
• Leverage client approaches to improve model performance and business outcomes
• Advance responsible AI practices by integrating governance, ethical considerations, and security into model development and deployment
• Develop and maintain trustworthy benchmarks and operational performance monitoring for predictive models and GenAI systems
• Identify and champion new business opportunities by proposing and delivering innovative AI-driven solutions
