Overview:

Lorien Encore is currently seeking a Dietary Cook to join our culinary and nutrition services team. This role is ideal for a dependable, energetic cook who is passionate about food preparation, dietary compliance, and providing high-quality meals in a healthcare or senior living environment.We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic culinary professional who enjoys learning new cooking techniques and applying them within established dietary guidelines. The right candidate will take pride in their work, collaborate well with others, and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

Pay Rate

• Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Same-Day Pay for All Employees!

Responsibilities:

• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Serve Safe Certification, a plus
• Prepare and cook meals in accordance withdietary requirements, physician orders, and sanitation standards
• Performbatch cooking while maintaining food quality and consistencyFollow
• Proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Demonstrateproper knife skills and safe equipment use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment

• Full-Time or Part-Time Hours

• 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
