Material Handler

TRC Talent is looking for Material Handlers for our client in Acworth, GA!

Job Details:

• Monday - Friday (8AM-4:30PM)

• $18.00/hr

• Temp to Hire

Job Duties:

• Safely and efficiently package metal plates and parts using wood, boxes, shrink wrap, and banding materials to prepare for outbound shipments via truck

• Handle and move long metal bar stock (12 feet or longer), breaking them down into smaller bundles as required

• Support shipping and receiving by preparing materials for shipment, staging them for operators, and loading/unloading trucks

• Utilize RF scanners to locate, move, and update material locations within the facility

• Assist in cycle counts and locating misplaced or lost inventory

• Operate a forklift or side loader (previous experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate)

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis

• Use basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation

• Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling role is a plus

• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory software preferred

• Willingness to operate a forklift and learn new equipment

• Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with large materials
