Mobile Upfitting Technician

Seeking an automotive upfitting technician to assist in installation, maintenance, integration and troubleshooting of emergency lighting, sirens and radio communications equipment in vehicles. Individuals should have the following experience:

1. Proficient with basic hand tools.
2. Understand or able learn basic wiring format, electrical theory
3. Able to read build sheets and prewire for basic installs.
4. Understand how to use a multimeter (power, ground).
5. Plus would have experience in vehicle upfitting installation.
6. Plus would be experience with Whelen parts and equipment knowledge.

Certifications requested but not required:

1. Whelen Master Tech
2. Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) Skilled
3. Mobile Communications and Electronics Installer (MCEI)-ETA
4. Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT-L1)
