We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to support B2B sales operations within a growing territory. This role is designed as a leadership development position, offering structured training and mentorship toward promotion into a Branch Manager role with full P&L responsibility.
The ideal candidate will bring a consultative sales mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage customer accounts while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with B2B customers, identifying equipment or service needs and recommending solutions
- Prospect new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline within an assigned territory
- Execute a consultative sales approach to close rental, lease, and equipment sales transactions
- Maintain and expand existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Assist with credit management and collections activities as needed
- Track leads, customer activity, and sales performance using CRM and internal systems
- Support branch operations, including inventory tracking, reporting, and key performance metrics
- Participate in structured training to prepare for future Branch Manager responsibilities, including P&L ownership
Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 13 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience with territory management or account ownership preferred
