The Parts Assembler is responsible for manufacturing completed, high-quality assembled products that meet customer requirements and sales order specifications. Working under the direction of the Lead Assembler, this position demands precision, strong attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer-focused results.

Position Overview:
The Parts Assembler is responsible for manufacturing completed, high-quality assembled products that meet customer requirements and sales order specifications. Working under the direction of the Lead Assembler, this position demands precision, strong attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer-focused results.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly Operations: Complete customer assembly orders accurately by following the Parts Assembler Assignment Form and Packaging Lists provided for each build.
- Component Installation: Insert blades into the disk using designated jigs/fixtures, attach the Front Ring, and secure blade tabs on both sides with a pneumatic hammer.
- Parts Retrieval: Gather and organize all required inventory components needed to fulfill scheduled assembly tasks.
- Product Staging: Transport completed wheels to the designated staging area for future hub installation.
- Quality Standards: Maintain a high level of precision and accuracy throughout all assembly processes.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor stock levels of parts and report low inventory to the Lead Assembler.
- Supply Communication: Notify Purchasing and Inventory departments of any shortages in materials or supplies.
- Process Feedback: Report any discrepancies, errors, or recommended updates related to Packaging Lists to the Lead Assembler.
- Documentation: Accurately document daily start and stop times on the Parts Assembler Assignment Form.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year working in a manufacturing or assembly-related environment preferred.
- Skills & Abilities: Capable of working with minimal supervision, interpreting packaging and assembly documentation, and accurately identifying and retrieving inventory components. Must demonstrate attention to detail, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical Requirements: Position involves regular standing, walking, sitting, lifting boxes, and retrieving materials throughout the work area. Requires consistent use of hands, arms, vision, hearing, and verbal communication abilities.
