We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead IT projects within the telecom sector. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation in telecom operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
Execution
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with telecom business needs.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
Act as the primary liaison between IT teams and telecom business units.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
Technical Oversight
Manage IT system implementations such as OSS/BSS (Operational Support Systems / Business Support Systems).
Oversee integration of telecom applications (CRM, billing, ERP, network management tools).
Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk
Quality Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
Required Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (Master s preferred).
7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in telecom IT projects.
Strong knowledge of telecom systems (OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, ERP).
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
Desired Attributes
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced telecom environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers.
Knowledge of emerging telecom technologies (5G, IoT, cloud-based solutions).
