Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedPhysical Security Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, optimization, and implementation of complexCCTV and Access Control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design security systems, includingAccess Control (Client),Video Surveillance (SVS/CCTV), intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
- Utilize proficiency inAutoCAD,Bluebeamto develop, review, and mark up design documentation.
- Design and model LMR and DAS networks using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct RF propagation analysis, link budget calculations, and interference analysis.
- Develop comprehensive network designs, including antenna placement, equipment selection, and cabling diagrams.
- Perform site surveys to validate designs and troubleshoot existing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure project requirements are met and designs are implemented accurately.
- Create detailed documentation, including design reports, bills of materials (BOM), and as-built drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CCTV and Access Conrol design and engineering.
- Experience with specific security systems, such as Ccure, Axis, or FLIR.
Bonus Experience (not required):
- Hands-on experience with iBwave is a plus
- Experience designing and working with Client Solutions'MOTOTRBOsystems.
- Some experience with LMR or DAS design or engineering (examples: RF design and propagation,knowledge of LMR technologies such as P25, TETRA, or MOTOTRBO, experience with DAS components, experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers,service monitors, and power meters)
