About the Role:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support experimental manufacturing operations.
  • This role involves creating routings, managing inventory, coordinating material transfers, and troubleshooting part and program issues to ensure smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and edit manufacturing routings for experimental builds.
  • Generate programs for fabrication operations; review manufactured part prints.
  • Monitor production inventory and forecast future needs.
  • Transfer stock between departments and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding material transfers.
  • Coordinate with Supply Management on purchased parts and stock availability.
  • Prepare and update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Occasionally design and model simple parts for shop use.
  • Troubleshoot part requests from engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with laser programs and manufacturing routings.
  • Tools & Systems: SAP, CREO, AutoCAD, Lantek, Radan, Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/prints; experience with CREO and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI; knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • High level of computer literacy and comfort with technology.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and other fabrication processes.
