We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Time Paralegal to support our clients practice in real estate and zoning matters. This role involves assisting with lease drafting, document preparation, and administrative support, including the use of a typewriter for preparing and formatting legal documents. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and format residential and commercial lease agreements
- Assist with real estate transactions, including document preparation and file management
- Support zoning and land use matters, including preparing applications and organizing supporting materials
- Conduct basic legal and municipal research related to zoning regulations and property records
- Prepare and format legal documents using both computer-based systems and a typewriter
- Maintain and organize client files (digital and physical)
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and reports with high accuracy
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed
- Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in real estate or land use/zoning
- Familiarity with lease agreements and real estate documentation
- Experience using a typewriter or willingness to learn and use one regularly
- Strong typing and document formatting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic office software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
