Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid Required (M/F Remote - T/W/TH Onsite)

Our client is seeking a senior contractor to help advance our reporting, dashboarding, and visualization capabilities. This role will play a key part in improving how we deliver insights, enabling more consistent and efficient reporting across teams, and supporting better decision-making through clear, well-designed dashboards and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Senior-level experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Strong background in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical deliverables
• Experience aligning reporting needs across multiple teams, use cases, or formats
• Ability to operate independently with limited oversight
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting finance or commercial analytics preferred
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience strongly preferred
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

• Additional experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Experience in finance or commercial analytics
• Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve recurring reporting processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting requirements
• Align similar use cases across teams to support consistency in reporting logic, structure, and format
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that support business objectives
• Develop intuitive, high-quality visualizations that improve visibility and support decision-making
• Work cross-functionally to define metrics, reporting standards, and reusable design approaches
• Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and improve recurring reporting processes
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and support ongoing enhancements as business needs evolve
