Required Skills & Qualifications

• 710 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Experience working across multiple Java versions, preferably including Java 21 migrations/upgrades
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience upgrading or migrating applications to Java 21 or other recent LTS versions
• Financial services industry background preferred
• Python experience, especially for AI/ML development and automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Working with Spring Framework / Spring Boot and Dependency Injection
• Collaborating with team members to integrate AI capabilities into applications/workflows
