The overallobjectiveof the Electrical Assembler positionis to provide high quality craftsmanship in all electrical assembly techniquestocontribute to a team focused on achieving industry leading cycle time, delivering superior quality, andassistingin reducing per unit costs to drive operational success. Consistent andaccuraterepresentation of the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Demonstrates a basic level ofproficiencyin executing workmanship on production projects including large line-ups and complex sections in all areas of assembly. Installing all types of electrical components and devices onto pans and into enclosures per drawing packages, assembly guides, and instructions defined by the Engineering Department.
  • Prep and install electrical components, switches, meters, breaker cells, breakers, nameplates, sensors, etc. by reading andcomprehendingdrawing packages,layoutsand documents with supervision, to efficiently build customized equipmentin order tomeet and exceed deadlines.
  • Perform daily tasks with safe and proper use of equipment and tools. overhead cranes, pallet jacks, tilt tables,saw horses, stools, ladders, drills, hand tools, air and electric power tools, tape measures, etc.
  • Interpret and apply basic electrical manufacturing knowledge and principles while reading specifications to make determinations oncomponentparts,methodsand sequencing.
  • Maintain a safe,cleanand well-organized work area bycomplying withsafety procedures, rules, quality standards and best practices, and relying on pre-established guidelines or directions from senior team members to perform tasks optimally.
  • Maintain operational excellence by completing necessary paperwork for tasks such as Quality Check Lists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
