B.
Minimum Qualifications of Candidate
The Department is seeking a Web Applications Programmer professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):
"
Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree, or a related field.
"
Minimum of 7 years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications.
"
Proven experience developing applications using C#, .NET (including .NET Core), MVC, ASP.NET 4.x, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
"
Experience with web technologies, including Web Services, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks.
"
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including creating, writing, and optimizing stored procedures, as well as handling batch processing and data loading.
"
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2017 or newer.
"
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and application development within the Azure environment.
"
Experience with SharePoint 365 administration, including SharePoint workflows.
"
Experience working with development teams on large-scale enterprise projects.
"
Demonstrated ability to gather and document business and technical requirements.
"
Experience in testing custom applications, reports, dashboards, and large data sets.
"
Proven ability to produce technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, designs, traceability matrices, and testing artifacts.
"
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
Deliverables/Tasks
The Web Applications Programmer key deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:
"
Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects.
"
Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports.
"
which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
"
Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as
"
appropriate.
"
Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.
"
Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans,
"
change control logs, and reports.
"
Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and
"
implementation of business solutions.
"
Manages change control within the projects.
"
Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path.
"
Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
