About the Company

Our client is a customer-focused organization within the lumber and building materials industry, partnering with mills and wholesalers to deliver high-quality products to a diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers

  • Prospect, qualify, and onboard new accounts

  • Provide timely and accurate quotes with consistent follow-up

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions within CRM systems

Strategy & Execution

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Contribute to pricing strategies in a fluctuating commodity market

  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform sales approach

Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams across sales, operations, and finance

  • Coordinate logistics and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn industry-specific software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in lumber, building materials, or industrial sales

  • Familiarity with commodity-based pricing environments

  • Experience using CRM systems

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $70,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: $100,000+ (commission-based upside)
