We are looking for a software engineer to join our cloud platform team and help build scalable automated cloud solutions that empower development teams this role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands on AWS experience and a DevOps mindset.
Must have : Terraform , software engineering /application development , Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
Cloud Platform Software Engineer Sno Rate Score out of 10 below Must Have skills 1 Strong hands-on software engineering /application development experience able to build services, components, APIs 2 Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another modern scripting language 3 Ability to write scripts, utilities, and automation functions for cloud workflows 4 Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, functional) and test frameworks 5 Hands on experience with AWS cloud services, building cloud native applications and platform solutions 6 Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, terraformany one is fine) 7 Understanding of SQL/NoSQL managed database services 8 Experience designing or architecting applications, platforms, or distributed systems Customer Expectation Need more software experience Automated testing Should be able to write functions, script for automated testing The candidate needs to have coding / scripting experience on JavaScript or other scripting language Should be able to build a bunch of applications and not only migrate to cloud What you will do Design and build cloud native applications and platform services on AWS Develop automation, functions, and scripting to support platform capabilities and self service tooling Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability, scalability, and quality Create and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, or similar Architect secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions following best practices Build internal tools, reference architectures, and reusable components for application teams Partner with developers to enable platform adoption and improve developer experience Contribute to continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps workflows Nice to have CI/CD pipeline development (CodePipeline, Gitlab, Harness, GitHub Actions, etc.) DevOps or platform engineering background AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing) AWS IAM and security best practices AWS Account Factory/Control Tower experiences Exp, with containers (ECS/EKS) or serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway)
