Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and integrating the organizations Quality Assurance and Environmental Health & Safety programs. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence across all functions. This position will work cross-functionally with the engineering and production departments to ensure all products are aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
Salary: $110,000-$120,000/yr (flexible)
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the quality team, ensuring appropriate training and development is taking place
Oversee the Quality Management System, making improvements where necessary
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (ISO and customer expectations)
*Oversee internal and external audits
Establish and oversee the reporting of the organizations quality indicators
Identify areas for quality control improvement & implement new methods accordingly
Ensure quality or compliance concerns are handled with urgency
Ensure calibration of quality control equipment is within appropriate standards
Analyze quality metrics and data, implementing corrective/preventative actions as needed
Lead EH&S strategy toensure a safe work environment
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Develop and maintain safety programs, policies and procedures
Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions
Manage emergency preparedness and response plans
Promote environmental sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs
Establish KPIs and dashboard to track performance and drive accountability
Report on Quality and EH&S performance to leadership
Partner with operations, engineering and leadership on organization goals and objectives
Work with customers and suppliers to maintain good working relationships
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of Quality systems and EH&S Regs
Proven leadership and team development skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Required Education/Experience
10+ years progressive experience in Quality & EHS
5+ years experience in a leadership role
Experience in manufacturing/ industrial environments
Experience with ISO9001 compliance
Bachelors Degree
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
